ACS Personal Insurance is proud to direct at least 25 percent of our revenue to our charity partners. One of these organisations is Sports Chaplaincy Australia (SCA), who have just recently shared some exciting new developments. Together with Basketball Victoria (BV), SCA are proud to announce the launch of the new ‘CLUBCARE SUPPORT SERVICE’ for all BV affiliated basketball associations throughout Victoria.

The launch of the new ClubCare service provides sports associations and clubs with access to rapid pastoral support when critical incidents occur. From severe on-court injuries to the loss of endearing members, staff and players will have the opportunity to have access to immediate personal and corporate care when required.
“Our team has been working hard at ClubCare for over 18 months. It’s a pleasure to launch this first-ever State-wide ClubCare program with Basketball Victoria,” SCA National Director and former Melbourne Football Club Chaplain Cameron Butler commented. “The program will ensure players, coaches, referees and staff – as well as their families - have access to genuine support when needed most for years to come.”
Sports Chaplaincy Australia has been a long-time provider of trained and accredited volunteer sports chaplains to Australia sports with over 700 chaplains serving in high performance and local sports including the AFL, NRL, ARU, FFA Referees, Supercars and motor sports and Life Saving to name a few.
